Mohamad Farid Bin Abdul Rahim (‘Farid Rahim’) is the principal counsel and sole proprietor of Messrs. Farid Rahim. Admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2019, he has gained comprehensive experience as an advocate and solicitor with a focus on civil litigation, particularly in corporate and commercial disputes. Over the years, he has expanded his practice to include corporate advisory, employment matters, and selective involvement in criminal litigation, representing clients across a wide range of matters with strategic thinking and a strong commitment to client outcomes.
Farid Rahim graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from Multimedia University, Malacca, and later earned his Master of Laws (LL.M) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam. His academic achievements laid a strong legal foundation, which he continues to build upon through practical experience in litigation and advisory work — enabling him to approach matters with both analytical depth and strategic insight.
His litigation experience includes handling both trials and appeals. He has advised and represented clients in a variety of contentious matters involving contractual disputes, defamation, employment issues, and shareholder conflicts, amongst others. His grounding as a litigator allows him to offer clear and practical legal solutions while ensuring his clients’ interests are effectively protected at every stage of the legal process.
In addition to his litigation background, Farid Rahim has gained experience as an in-house counsel. This role offered him valuable perspective on the intersection between legal and commercial considerations, enhancing his understanding of the internal operations of businesses and strengthening his ability to provide practical, business-conscious legal solutions.
